Working across the organisation and reporting directly to the Executive Management team, this is a truly outstanding opportunity, where you can add value from day one. Based in Cairns, you are responsible for the strategic asset planning (including delivery of a ten year capital works budget) and the development of maintenance plans for all classes of assets (using NAMS documentation). Assets are located across an extensive geographic area and you will work closely with all branches with a view to improving the life of assets for the organisation, through initiatives that are leading edge and commercially sound. You will develop and implement whole of life and ecologically sustainable asset management plans across the board. You will have a proven background in asset management, supervisory experience and the ability and willingness to liaise with a wide variety of people in the organisation. Your report writing skills are paramount to your success in this role. A generous salary package is on offer for the successful candidate with a view to start late January/early February 2012.
