Department Summary:

Fund Accounting is part of Worldwide Security Services forming a component of Treasury and Security Services division of J.P.Morgan. It provides audited investment valuations, accounting and related reporting, such as tax, compliance and performance to its clients. Clients include large industry superannuation funds, investment management unit trusts based in Australia and other locations within Asia Pacific such as New Zealand and Asia. These clients invest in local and international markets (global reach) and in a wide range of investments including equities, fixed interest, cash and liquids, forward foreign exchange, as well as derivative products. Each client has various reporting deadlines including daily, weekly and monthly.

The Fund Accounting unit consists of 14 teams, each headed up by the Account Manager - Fund Accounting, with each team consisting of approximately 4-8 staff members at various levels. (Fund Accountant and Assistant Manager). There are 6 Senior Managers reporting through to the Head of Fund Accounting.
