Assistant Accountant – Investment Trust recruitment
One of our clients who manages specialist funds, which create value through investing in projects in infrastructure and real estate are currently looking to recruit a confident and articulate Assistant accountant to join the team. With over a decade of experience in structuring and actively managing assets, this is one company who know their business. With offices located globally and just under 100 staff employed this is a great opportunity with great progressive steps.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the accounts payable and cash management functions including;
· Supporting the finance function, in particular setting up of payments and managing cash for the companies business areas
· Providing effective operational cash management, cash flow processing and treasury management
· Providing assistance in preparing monthly accounts
· Ensuring that all aspects of payments and cash management are fully controlled, reviewed and deadlines met
· Ensuring that all teams follow the companies procedures and policies, for the Payments and Expenses
· Providing accurate support to accounts preparation within tight deadlines
· Communicating regularly with the Senior Management Accountant to ensure aware of priorities on an ongoing basis
It is expected that as the successful candidate grows alongside this role they will more than likely grow with the capabilities of the successful incumbent. Ideal candidates must have prior experience as an assistant account or within a finance depart What's more you will also have current working experience of Excel and SUN general ledger.
