Assistant Accountant / Management Accountant required for an events business based in South Manchester. The role will entail a multitude of duties taking control of the site accounts including sales ledger , stock control, purchase ledger, cash reporting, cash auditing and general financial management. Because of the nature of the business there are a high volume of transactions and cash management, in addition as the business is growing there will be an opportunity for growth and development in the role. You will need to have excellent Excel skills and be able to work in a fast paced , high volume business. A study package could also e offered for the right candidate. The role is reporting to a Financial Controller who is based in London so you must be able to work with some independence however there is very a team atmosphere with regular social events. They offer an above market rate salary of circa £28,000 -£32,000 plus additional benefits.
