Assistant Accountant recruitment
One of our leading funds of funds clients is looking to recruit a confident and articulate individual with excellent communication skills to join their finance team. Located in one of London's most affluent areas they are looking to recruit a candidate with proven working experience and understanding of equities and equity derivatives.
Working in a team of 4 and reporting to the firms Financial Director you will be primarily responsible for;
· Daily reconciliation of the trial balance and accruals between the old and new system
· Assigning instructions on new deals
· Posting any manual journals and intercompany journals
· Production of the accounts up to trial balance
· Preparation of the monthly projected dividend report, daily collateral positions report
· Assisting in the preparation of the monthly management accounts for the head office
This is an excellent opportunity within a company that is going in the right direction. With a solid standing in the industry and fighting off stiff competition they are a great company to work for. Ideal candidates will be immediately available, with excel skills to Macros level and will also be highly systems orientated with excellent communication skills. Candidates will be part qualified or equivalent on ACCA, CIMA or ACA although this is not essential. Candidates must also have prior experience within accounting in the financials services sector. Those with Navision experience will be beneficial.
