Assistant Accounting Manager recruitment
One of the largest global insurance and financial services organisations is looking for an Assistant Accounting Manager who will be working in the regional office based in HK, having matrix reporting to the local team lead and home office. The role will initially be for a 6 month period, to start as soon as possible.
The key responsibilities are:
- Preparation and/or review of month-end consolidated financial accounts closings;
- Review of completed monthly and quarterly group reporting templates;
- Preparation of forecasts and budgeting for financial planning and analysis;
- Preparation and submission of reports to the Hong Kong Insurance Authority;
- Assisting accounting system implementation;and
- Handling ad-hoc reporting requests and/or projects as required.
Requirements:
- Have Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or are qualified as a CPA or equivalent;
- Have 3-5 years of relevant experience, some of which must have been gained within financial services or insurance organisation;
- Be fluent in spoken and written English.
Less experienced candidates will also be considered for the role of Senior accountant / Accountant.
