Assistant Assurance Manager, Group AML recruitment
Group Risk is an independent function responsible for ensuring there is an appropriate risk governance framework on a Group wide and divisional basis, and that day-to-day risks are managed effectively within this framework. The management of risk is a fundamental activity which underpins the Group's reputation, performance and future success. Our specialist teams are; Credit Risk, Market and Insurance Risk, Regulatory and Operational Risk, and Risk Infrastructure and Analytics.
The Anti Money Laundering (AML) function is responsible for the provision of reactive and proactive advice to staff on all aspects of AML and is accountable for globally formulated AML policies and sanctions. We seek to protect the Group from the threat of money launderers and terrorist financiers.
As Assistant Assurance Manager, Group Anti Money Laundering, you'll provide support to the Assurance Manager, in delivering the annual assurance plan through appropriate planning and project management and by managing relationships with specific business stakeholders. You'll add value by providing assurance to Senior and Executive Management that the Group’s AML / STF / ABC risks are evaluated and managed appropriately
To be successful as Assistant Assurance Manager, Group Anti Money Laundering, you'll have experience working in a bank regulatory or financial institution in an AML / compliance / internal controls area, with knowledge of banking products and services.
