Assistant Bookkeeper

Do you have experience of processing complex purchase invoices from inputting to paying suppliers and dealing with queries as well as raising sales invoices, bank statement reconciliations and ad-hoc bookkeeping duties.

This temporary job based on the south side of Colchester would suit an individual who enjoys working in a busy finance office as the role will involve ledger processing and reconciliations but we need the successful candidate to have the ability to assist in other areas.

The main aspects of this temporary job which lead onto a permanent post will involve processing purchase invoices for Head Office and their 9 divisions as well as dealing with company credit cards and paying staff expenses. You will be confident with accounting packages and ideally you will have experience of Irs Exchequer but this is not essential.

Our client is based on the souther outskirts of Colchester and due to their location you will need to have your own transport.
