Assistant Business Development Manager recruitment
Key responsibilities:
- To deliver new business Pro Forma Income, adhering to sustainable RBS Invoice Finance targets.
- To support initially two Business Development Directors in the region through generating an agreed number of quality first meetings, assisting with the preparation of credit papers and pitches, assisting with the documentation and payout process where appropriate and to provide eventual succession to the Business Development Directors role.
- Agreed levels of market facing activity including first visits and network building.
- Preparation of credit submissions, term sheets and pitch documents for self and for regional Business Developers.
- Drive Business Development Directors activity and ensure that the BDD has an agreed minimum of quality meetings booked ahead per week.
- Delivering and contributing to agreed targets for the customer experience including handover to RM team in region.
The Individual
- Corporate Banking and / or Invoice Finance/Asset Based Lending markets, financial, economic and credit analysis.
- Systematic use of prospect database (compiling and management), preparation of pitch documents and term sheets.
- Demonstrable success in sales and marketing with telephone cold calling, written and face to face situations.
- Team player and capable of working and delivering in a matrix structure.
- Working to deadlines and the ability to close transactions, liaising with various stakeholders.
