Assistant Category Trade Manager- Tea Job in Toronto M4W 3R2, Ontario Canada
Working with Category Trade Manager in developing trade strategies, which include pricing, promotion, distribution, and shelving strategies for each brand.
•Having a complete and thorough understanding of volume achievement to-date and issues by brand. Working with the Category Trade Manager to develop annual forecasts and plans for each brand; monitoring performance and recommending alternate plans if necessary.
•Monitoring and analyzing competitive trade activities. Assessing implications and recommending indicated action.
•Working with Brand Manager’s, ABM’s and the Operations Manager in order to determine the optimum approach and timing to successfully launch new products, switch products and implement price increases. Organizing and co-coordinating launch meetings with CDG.
•Developing co-marketing initiatives, which leverage brand initiatives at our customers, including special packs, display activities, corporate promotions and POS materials.
•Working with the Category Trade Manager to develop and communicate a customer investment plan to the CDG. Responsible for reconciling and publishing variable fixed trade rates.
The ideal candidate will possess a university degree, with excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Previous experience in sales, including account management experience, is preferred. Strong PC/software skills, including Microsoft Office, are a must.
