Assistant Controller – Broker Dealer recruitment

Our is major (non-US) based International Investment Bank currently looking to add a motivated Assistant Controller to their growing Financial Reporting Team.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the preparation of the FOCUS reports for Broker Dealer
- 15c3-1 Net capital calculations
- 15c3-3 Customer reserve calculations
- Reviewing daily PL, preparing daily capital computation
- Liaising with external and internal regulators and auditors
- Researching Accounting and ISDA issues
- Preparing audited financial statements
- Preparing quarterly Head Office reports
Requirements:
- Degree from accredited University/College (Accounting or Finance Degree preferred)
- CPA preferred
- Strong technical skills: excel, access, v-lookups, VBA, SQL, or other related accounting softwares
- 5+ years experience, audit and/or industry (Broker Dealer or Financial Services).
- Series 27 preferred
- Prior supervisory experience preferred but not mandatory
