Assistant Controller (M/F) recruitment
THE ROLE
Assisting the Controller Europe for ensuring effective financial controls, timely and accurate internal and external financial reporting, you will join a small and dynamic team to:
- Prepare monthly intercompany recharges for Europe
- Review the local financials (capital lease activity, fixed assets...)
- Prepare the Company’s yearly SOX internal control evaluation for Europe.
- Assist in the consolidation process for Europe.
- Prepare accounting policies and procedures documentation.
- Support the local accounting team with systems and tools.
- Assist in the production of monthly financial statements and all other financial reporting for 34 European entities
- Analyze financial reports.
- Assist in the development and improvements to the Company’s financial accounting systems required to maintain reporting requirements.
- Work in coordination with the Controller Europe on various ad hoc projects.
YOUR PROFILE
- Accounting or Finance degree or equivalent
- At least 3 years experience in an international fast-paced environment
- Good technical accounting background as well as consolidation experience
- You are fluent in French and in English, Spanish would be an asset
- Good IT skills, excellent knowledge of Excel is required
- Knowledge of any ERP system, preferably Navision, would be a plus
- Good analytical and communication skills
- You are reliable and able to work independently
