Assistant Corporate Controller to $150k
Global Investments Company is currently searching for an Assistant Corporate Controller with 12-16 years of related experience to join their Boston team! In this role, you will be responsible for the following: the company's external reporting and budgeting/ planning and the income tax basis Consolidated Financial Statements within established timelines; managing accounting policies and procedures, addressing: internal controls; planning, and ongoing registered Investment Advisor reporting; maintaining the integrity of the general ledger while providing assistance to group staff members; overseeing the team that maintains the expense report system, account receivables/payables, balance sheet management, and cash reconciliations; planning, developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures addressing: internal controls; planning, forecasting reporting systems; contracts negotiation and review; revenue recognition; and ongoing regulatory compliance; as well as various ad hoc projects as needed. The qualified candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance; CPA required with controllership experience for the management company of a Private Equity Investor, public accounting firm experience for the management company of a Private Equity Investor; treasury experience is a plus; significant years of experience operating in a complex, multi-legal entity, multi-business unit, tax driven environment; experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word Outlook)' and knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred.
