About the Assistant Dean:
Within this rich environment, the GSOE Assistant Dean and Chief Financial and Administrative Officer (CFAO) is the principal advisor to the Dean, Associate Deans, and faculty program leaders. The CFAO has responsibility for planning, directing, and coordinating all academic, administrative, and financial operations of the Dean's office. Specifically, budget and financial management, policy development and implementation, contract and grant administration, and management of human resources. The CFAO plays an integral role in the development of the Dean's long range goals and objectives, and provides executive leadership and direction in strategic planning that supports the academic mission and goals of the School and the University.
