Assistant Director
The role will also involve:
- Internal and external networking for the purpose of business development and sourcing of funding.
- Financial modelling to support analysis and market engagements.
- Support business development opportunities, client engagement and pitching for market openings.
- Negotiating financial solutions, including with funders.
- Overseeing the work of project teams and managing junior staff.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience within the renewable and low carbon sector, on top of a broader experience of the energy and utilities industry.
- Experience of interacting with clients including developers, investors and public sector clients.
- Merger and Acquisition experience on both sides.
- Understanding and experience of project financing and capital market financing solutions.
- Experience of successfully leading projects. Developing team members and working in a team environment.
- Strong financial modelling capability.
- Experience of data analytics.
- The ability to grasp financial and commercial issues quickly.
- Experience of working in a time pressured environment.
- Experience of significant client exposure.
- An ACA and existing client connections/strong BD track record will be more favourable.
