Hays Senior Finance is currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity to join a market leading Corporate Finance Advisory team in Aberdeen within their Structured Finance business. You will join a highly successful and nationally visible team with a proven track record of transactions across the oil and gas sector predominantly which continues to be a highly active market. This is also an excellent opportunity to gain significant exposure to the Private Equity community in the North-East market.
Working in a dynamic team, you will work in a corporate finance capacity supporting deals which will include structuring and execution of financial sponsor backed and complex corporate debt transactions. You will prepare Sightings, Capital Commitments and Credit submissions that present a balanced risk assessment of deal opportunities together with a compelling case to support proposed transactions. You will actively participate at Committees alongside deal leaders, demonstrating a detailed knowledge of the transaction. This role offers an unrivalled exposure to the Corporate Finance / deal-making community in the North-East for the right individual.
The successful candidate will ideally be a Qualified Accountant with experience in a corporate transaction environment. You will have a strong understanding of financial statements, an ability to analyse often complex financial information and strong financial modelling skills. You will contribute to the effective project management of deal processes, interfacing with internal and external stakeholders.
