Our Commercial Advisory Services team here at Ernst Young is seeking to recruit an Assistant Director who will be able to build on their current strategy development, transaction and commercial experience.
Our Commercial Advisory Services team advises corporate and private equity clients on strategic and commercial issues affecting their key investment decisions. Areas of our work include:
Commercial due diligence / Strategy assessment / Market entry strategy and opportunity sizing
Product and business unit strategy development / Divestment options analysis
Your responsibilities as an Assistant Director will include:
- Being a true business advisor to the client and establish yourself as a key client contact; Understanding key business drivers, co-developing our approach with the client, agreeing value measurements with the client, providing value to the client through insights, factual conclusions and advice
- Project managing teams and working closely with all members as well as forming strong internal links within transaction support and other departments in Ernst Young
- Collecting and utilising relevant business and industry information and analysing this information effectively by applying strategic and commercial analysis techniques
- Planning, delivering, structuring, writing and presenting work against tight deadlines.
Qualifications/skills you’ll need as an Assistant Director:
- Strong track record in executing and managing research and analysis of companies and markets, preferably with commercial due diligence experience
- Strong commercial experience and/or relevant industry or transaction experience
- Business development experience
- Bachelors degree required; MBA or other qualification a plus
- Knowledge of a European language.
