Our Mission The PCAOB is a nonprofit corporation established by Congress to oversee the audits of public companies in order to protect the interests of investors and further the public interest in the preparation of informative, accurate and independent audit reports. The PCAOB also oversees the audits of broker-dealers, including compliance reports filed pursuant to federal securities laws, to promote investor protection. Job Description The PCAOB has a full-time, regular position for an Assistant Director, Learning Development at its Washington, DC headquarters office. This position reports to the Director of Human Resources. The successful candidate assists the Director in delivering core HR functions and will serve as an learning development liaison and advisor to PCAOB leadership. This person will develop effective partnerships across the organization to deliver value added service to management and employees that reflect the strategic objectives of the PCAOB. The candidate must demonstrate initiative and be strategic, while also managing the core HR issues that arise in a rapidly changing environment. Responsibilities * Drive and facilitate talent management processes including, but not limited to, training, performance management, succession and workforce planning * Conduct organizational needs assessments to determine current and future developmental staffing needs * Partner with leaders to develop and update competency models for current and future organizational needs; in collaboration with leaders, develop customized individual and work team development plans to address gaps * Create training and development programs charged with increasing the capabilities and performance of individuals and work teams * Develop change management activities that drive the organizational strategy and initiatives * Monitor and track effectiveness of organizational change activities and training and development programs * Lead development and delivery of leadership development program * Assist in Total Rewards program development and communication * Travel to regional offices as needed
