Assistant Director of Nursing, East Cork
Cpl Healthcare in partnership with it's client are seeking to hire an Assistant Director of Nursing for a modern and purpose built east Cork healthcare facility.
This state of the art facility caters for the older adult and comprises of two General Care Unit and also a Dementia Specific Care Unit. Located approximately 25 minutes east of Cork city this facility is also within easy access of the Jack Lynch Tunnel.
This luxury Nursing Home provides hotel style accommodation set on beautiful landscaped grounds, offering home comforts and high standards of care.
At this time they are seeking to recruit an Assistant Director of Nursing to join their team. They would like candidates to have at least 4 years post registration experience, not specifically in Aged Care, however this would be desirable. They are seeking a candidate at ADON level but will also consider a Clinical Nurse Manager looking to take the next step in their career. Excellent salary on offer and set hours every week.
Requirements:
- Candidates must be RGN/RPN qualified and registered with An Board Altranais.
- 4 years post registration experience not essentially in Aged Care
- Passion and desire to further your career in Gerontology
- Good leadership and management skills
- Understanding of the Nursing Home sector and good knowledge of HIQA standards and policies
