St. Francis Country House has an opening for a full time Assistant Director of Nursing. The primary purpose of this position is to assist in the planning, organizing, development and direction of the overall operation of the nursing services department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the facility and as may be directed by the Director of Nursing, Administrator and/or the Medical Director to ensure that the highest degree of quality of care is maintained at all times.
This position requires a Bachelors degree from an accredited school of nursing, college or university. Must have a minimum of 3 years experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long-term care facility or other related health care facility as well as a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Strong leadership, supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel are also required.
