Job Description

 Celebrate Caring at Pope John Paul Care and Rehabilitation Center, a SunBridge Healthcare affiliate. We're seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing Services, ADNS, RN at our 141-bed center, located in Danbury, CT.  Our center has a good survey history and specialized short term Rehab Recovery Suites and dedicated Alzheimer's Unit.  Come join our team!

We are currently looking for a dynamic Registered Nurse that will assist the Director of Nursing Services to ensure that our high standards of patient care are met at all times. You will assist in planning, organizing and directing the day-to-day nursing department.

* Supports a positive work environment in line with our company mission and vision and assists in developing a cohesive nursing team by leading, motivating and support staff.
* Assists in recruitment and selection of Nursing Services personnel.
* Ensures that quality patient care is provided.

Job Requirements:

* Previous supervisory and leadership experience preferred
* Excellent communication, clinical and mentoring skills and experience in quality assurance and advanced training in infection control procedures
* Knowledgeable of general, rehabilitative and restorative nursing procedures, laws and regulations and guidelines governing long-term care
* Caring bedside manner and positive attitude toward the elderly
