The Assistant Director of Pharmacy will:
. Test and maintain all Automated Dispensing Cabinets (ADC) components and systems for Pharmacy.
. Manage data and report to meet accreditory and regulatory requirements.
. Communicate system changes to nurse managers and physicians and manager QI program for devices/systems.
. Supervise over 30 technicians in the use of the ADC system
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
. Either a Baccalaurate degree in Arts or Science, from an approved college or university
. Minimum of 3 years experience working with ADC’s or completion of the Management Carefusion®, Pyxis® Certification Program
. General knowledge of policies and programs utilized in the operation of a health care facility, ability to assimilate and analyze data, to recommend action based on analytical findings and to assist in the solution of complex problems in health care administration and management.
Departmental Preferences:
. Computer skills (satisfactory Excel and Word).
