Assistant Director (Private Equity Funds) recruitment

As part of this ongoing growth, a position has become available for an Assistant Director in theirLondonoperations to assist in the implementation of strategic policy ongoing management of the Company.
Specifically, this individual will be expected to effectively deal with all client requests, ensure the business is keep up-to-date of regulatory/accounting issues affecting private equity structures. They will also be expected to develop an understanding The remit of the role is be varied, but will include:
- Responsibility for a portfolio of clients
- Maintaining a strong working relationship with the Client Director and deputising for him/her on the boards of management and general partner companies
- Ensure that the Company's rules, regulations, policies and procedures are adhered to
- Attend regular management/fund meetings, suggestions any improvements/changes
- Supervise and manage the day-to-day workload of his/her section
- Undertake training, supervision and performance coaching/appraisals for staff
- Help build an effective team by assisting in the recruitment process
- Providing oversight and cover for other sections when needed
- Ensuring compliance of fund documentation complies with FSA standards and suggest any improvements necessary
- Effectively oversee board meetings for the Funds which the section administrates
- EnsureSLA's/KPIs are prepared/adhered to and set/maintain transaction deadlines
- Delegate/oversee management, quarterly, statutory accounts and NAV production
- Oversee quality and control of processes and deadlines for meetings.
- Ensure that all regulatory filings and payments are made at the appropriate times in order to meet deadlines and requirements.
- Undertaking 'A' signatory responsibility for the Company
This is a superb opportunity for an experienced financial services professional with an accountancy background to join a growing and dynamic firm. As such, we would like to invite applications from individuals with the following profile:
- Prior experience at a senior level in a funds/financial services financial institution
- A recognised professional qualification (ACCA, ICSA, ACA, CIMA)
- Previous management/supervisory experience
- Solid knowledge of accounting, company secretarial, private equity administration or investment banking
- Prior client-facing experience and excellent English/communication skills
