Assistant District Manager-Munster The Times is currently looking for a part-time (30-39 hours/week) Assistant District Manager to work in our Distribution Center located in Munster, Indiana. This position would cover the Highland, Munster area and assure that all newspapers are delivered on a daily basis and in a timely manner. The candidate would also learn how to manage carrier routes. This individual will be responsible for product redelivery to customers, assist of delivery of late or down routes; and other duties assigned by the area or District Manager. Comfortable with reading maps and familiarity with the area is preferred. Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record. Hours will be early morning which include Holidays and weekends. This is an excellent entry level position for a company and a department with a history of promoting from within. Reliable vehicle, proof of insurance, good driving record and ability to lift 40 pounds. Hourly wage starting at 10.00/HR., plus mileage and benefits available.
