Assistant FC This is a newly created role which has come about due to a period of extensive growth (through aggressive market acquisition) over the last two years. You will lead a team of up to 6 individuals, and be involved the full accounting spectrum for the business, including technical reporting, management information provision and compliance. You will be involved in a plethora of ad hoc projects, particularly arround technical accounting policy, alongside strategic input into commercial development from an accounting perspective.
Given the nature of the role it is virtually essential that you have had exposure to the full technical reporting cycle within an insurance firm, or equivalent. Your relevance could be demonstrated here by a number of years of post qualified accounting experience, or equivalent, within a similiar organisation. You should be able to highlight a good track record of success in a technical accounting role and be comfortable in liaising with individuals at all levels. This role is extremely fluid so a degree of adaptability is essential here.
