Assistant Finance Controller recruitment
This major manufacturing company in Wiltshire require an Assistant Finance Controller.There is a significant emphasis on reducing month end reporting times and to this effect an individual is required for 5 months to assist the Head of Finance with Financial Accounting and reporting in respect of month end closing for Group Purposes.
This is very much a 'nuts and bolts' role requiring on going attention to both PL the monthly costs the business has incurred, enabling anomalies to be proactively resolved on an on going basis, thus saving time at the month end.
This role would suit an accountant who may or may not be qualified, who has had exposure to both an SME environment which would give the hands-on experience, as well as exposure to larger or group environments.
Manufacturing exposure as well as experience of SAP US GAAP would be advantageous. A highly proactive individual who is capable of acting autonomously would be best suited to this role.
Salary is up to £33k pro-rata.
