Assistant Finance Manager, Financial Control
My client, a major UK Bank are looking for an Assistant Manager, Financial Control to join their IT Finance function. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of the accounts and supporting the reporting process. This role will require somebody who is able to work to extremely tight deadlines and who is also able to be challenged and work in a fast paced environment.
You will support the Reporting Manager and will deliver timely analysis and insight and you must be able to work as part of a team. You must also be able to work independently delivering standard month end reports and dealing with ad-hoc requests. The size and complexity of the IT Finance PL and Balance sheet makes this an exciting role and one that makes an excellent development opportunity for an individual seeking a stretching role with a view to career progression.
Successful candidates will be studying towards either ACA/ACCA/CIMA and have knowledge of either SAP R/3, SAP B/W or Oracle (ideally all 3). You must also demonstrate the ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders and to summarise complex issues. You will demonstrate understanding and execution of the Control Framework. Financial Services experience is not a necessity. IT Finance experience is desired but not essential.
