Assistant Financial Accountant recruitment

Preparation of month end reporting and accounting for various entities from trial balance

Calculation of accruals and prepayments

Preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations and expense analysis

Jointly manage the accounts payable function and supplier payments

Review ongoing expense submissions on corporate card expenses and staff reimbursements and that they are in line with company expenditure policy/guidelines and to ensure best practices

To business partner and to train new Executive Assistants of the expense approval system

Assist in the preparation of FSA reporting, other annual returns and filings

Preparation of VAT return and filing to HMRC

Assist in the preparation of P11Ds analysis

Maintenance of fixed assets registers for all European entities

Assist in the preparation and updating of Finance processes and procedures

Ad-hoc expense reports and analysis

Assist in the internal and year end external audits requirements and preparation

Other ad hoc requirements within the Finance team

Skills and Experience

Part qualified accountant (ACCA, ACMA)
Must be adaptable with the ability to embrace new challenges
Good communicator both written and oral
Be able to work accurately with excellent attention to detail
Commitment, drive and enthusiasm
Team player, self-starter attitude, solutions-oriented, good people and interpersonal skills
Advanced excel skills essential
SAP experience is very advantageous
