Weare seeking an Assistant Food Service Director for Production for aboarding school in Worcester, Massachusetts.
The ProductionManager will have a passion for people and food. The
Candidatewill have a CAN DO!! attitude, strong communication skills, highenergy and enthusiasm. The best candidate will enjoy currentfood
trends, and have nutritional and wellness awareness as wellas extensive
food production experience. In addition, the idealemployee will have great skills: planning, organizational, computer,and customer service.
We prefer a culinary degree, but this isnot a requirement of the
position. You must have knowledge,though, of food standards and sanitation standards (HACCP) and havestrong culinary skills. This is a hands on chef position.
Youwill work with the Food Service Director to deliver high quality foodfor meal service as well as all catering events. You will be involvedwith inventory and ordering. Since the unit is open seven days aweek, your schedule will include weekends and evenings.
Thisposition is all about imagination, creativity, and demonstrating astrong work ethic. We would like to find a manager that understandswhat
it means to add a little WOW to the program. Consistency isthe most critical factor in dining service and the successfulcandidate will possess the skills and leadership traits necessary toget all employees to follow him/her to reach our goals. Clientinteraction and customer service are key components of thisposition.
