Assistant Fund Manager – Property recruitment
Ground Rents:
• The business will initially comprise 6 funds, an umbrella fund (for which this role is the fund manager) and 5 specialist funds investing into ground rents, social housing, infrastructure, commercial long leases and university accommodation. Each fund will ultimately have its own fund manager (either wholly or partially dedicated).
• The Ground Rent Fund is seen as being attractive to investors, hence it is a key part of the initiative
• The clients pension scheme has made an allocation to the Ground Rent Fund of £140m and another external client has committed £50m. In addition, the Ground Rent Fund is seen as having very strong growth potential with UK pension funds (and potentially Annuity businesses).
• It is also anticipated that the client will seek to undertake ground rent fund management activities for other clients outside
• The role will involve assisting the Fund Manager in the sourcing and implementing investment transactions for the fund and subsequently the management of those assets.
• The role relates only to the UK markets at the current time.
Experience
• Track record in residential property investment management and/or asset management
• fund management and administration for unitised property funds.
• Experience of working with partners
• Able to demonstrate creative/ innovative thinking
• Ideally preparing and pitching to new and existing clients and consultants.
• Operating successfully within a performance and profit generating culture.
