Assistant Funding Consultant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a recently qualified or part qualified accountant to join the balance sheet management team for a leading UK banking organization.

Working within the Consumer Banking division the role has responsibility for leading the Balance Sheet Management function in terms of implementing and running all facets of the Liquidity Transfer Pricing framework, relating to consumer banking products ie cards, loans and personal current accounts. The post holder will have specific accountability for aspects of the Liquidity Transfer Pricing element

This is a great opportunity for a recently qualified or part qualified accountant with suitable pricing, balance sheet management, modeling, LTP or Treasury experience to move into a growing function. Candidates from large complex organisations are sought after for this role, given the size and scale of the retail portfolio.

Key Accountabilities:

*Assessing, calculating and monitoring assumptions feeding into LTP monthly and forecast processes for Consumer Banking Products.
*Delivery of an integrated approach into relevant modelling systems.
*The running of monthly models to calculate liquidity transfer pricing charge, across the Consumer Banking Products.
*Running processes for liquidity transfer pricing calculation and forecasting.
*Creating a control framework for operational LTP environment.
*Creating and assessing all pricing implications of LTP including Securitisation
*Provide insightful, high quality complex output, advice and guidance, executing control and tailored to senior stakeholder needs: through operating as a functional specialist.
