Bard is a leading multinational developer, manufacturer, and marketer of innovative, life-enhancing medical technologies. Based in New Jersey and with over 12,000 employees globally the company is now looking to appoint an experienced commercial lawyer to this key position leading on legal and compliance laws and regulation for their EMEA region.
Reporting into their US based Associate General Counsel - International and working closely with senior management the role will have broad responsibilities including leading on commercial contracts and transactions, compliance strategy execution and risk management, employment matters and data protection as well as advising on day to day matters and retaining and instructing outside counsel.
You will be an experienced lawyer, ideally with existing experience working for a life sciences multinational or similar regulated industry. You will in addition be a strong communicator with solid judgment and integrity and have the ability to work autonomously and within teams at all levels within a collaborative and fast paced business environment.
