Assistant General Counsel

Qualifications:

Candidate should have:
-five or more years in-house or law firm experience advising on consumer banking and wealth management
-strong knowledge of US federal and state banking rules, and the essentials of US securities and commodities regulations (experience with cross-border services issues is desirable)
-an understanding of legal, compliance and quality control issues
-an ability to assess and manage legal and franchise risks, and think creatively to accomplish goals
-the ability to build effective working relationships with key stakeholders across borders and cultures
-excellent interpersonal and client service skills and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
-computer skills in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
