Assistant Maintenance Manager Job in Sydney, New South Wales Australia
ALS Property Maintenance at North Rocks is a small but very busy operation providing minor repairs and maintenance for Strata Managements and Property Managers. We are seeking a new full-time Assistant Maintenance Manager to join our team for an immediate start.
Duties include (but not limited to):
- Liaising with strata managers, property managers, sub-contractors, ownders and tenants on all property related issues
- Requesting quotes
- Ordering required materials
- Scheduling jobs for our technicians and sub-contractors
- Working on-site with our technicians as required
Successful candidate must have
- Neat tidy presentation
- Strong command of English language (verbal written)
- Computer literate
- Ability to multi-task
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Commonsense and the ability to problem solve
- Be highly organised
- Ability to manage jobs in a timely and efficient manner
- Excellent memory recall
- Be a quick thinker
- Be friendly and pro-active in your customer service approach
- Possess own tools
- Have experience in a maintenance/handyman role
- Hold a current driver's licence
The position is full time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am till 5:00pm
Wages are negotiable for an immediate start
