Assistant Management Accountant recruitment

The role will include the following aspects and provide a good introduction to management accounting and exposure to the financial affairs of a private equity fund manager.

• Maintaining the purchase ledger for group entities.

• Answering queries from suppliers and ensuring invoices are settled in accordance with suppliers’ terms and conditions.

• Monthly bank reconciliations and processing of multi-currency payments.

• Providing data to answer ad hoc internal information requests from both the London and US offices.

• Assisting in the annual audit process and liaising with external auditors. 

• Assisting with the preparation of statutory reports for year end accounts.

Requirements: Graduated with 2.1 or above from ideally a numerate discipline. Some prior exposure of Purchase Ledger/bookkeeping and accounting software exposure Excellent attention to detail, team work and multi-tasker Ability to take initiative and a willingness to occasionally work outside core hours to get the work done and meet deadlines
