Assistant Manager – Actuarial Valuations recruitment

This International Insurer is seeking experienced actuaries to joining their growing Local Valuations team.

The Actuarial Department currently consists of various teams handling different business functions with key responsibilities in formulating and pricing insurance policies, retirement schemes, ensuring actuarial calculations on systems are correct and other financial strategies.

Key Responsibilities -

This role will work closely with the Finance department to ensure smooth cooperation in performing strategic and operating plan, financial report and analysis. This role will involve reviewing and analyzing the monthly financial report as compiled by Finance department. Result of the analysis will then be communicated to management and to address any questions from management

Work with the actuarial team to deliver the following functions:

Experience required -

Technical competence and independent judgment is important for this position since it is expected that the jobholder can work with minimal supervision. This person will also required to provide guidance to supporting staff during the normal course of work.
