Assistant Manager, Consumer Products (6-month position) Job
We are pleased to present an opportunity to join the International Consumer Card and Small Business Services (ICSS) team for a 6-month contract position, with a focus on project management. Working with the Portfolio Manager, the successful candidate will help ensure ICSS Consumer Products meet upcoming regulatory requirements while effectively evolving Lending processes and communications to ensure margins are protected. We seek candidates with a demonstrated understanding of Credit Card Lending within the Financial Services industry to add project management input into the Consumer Products Lending strategy. Lending Strategy project responsibilities will include: * Credit reform legislation - work in cross-functional team as Consumer Products Project Manager/Subject Matter Experts to help us meet requirements on time and to ensure we continue to operate compliantly, effectively and profitably by evolving our processes, operations and products. * Act as project lead for the Portfolio team / Consumer Products team on American Express initiatives or projects including the annual ICSS Pricing Audit. * Introduce APRs - support Portfolio Manager in helping to devise the Intro APR marketing strategy. * Partner with the Portfolio Analysis and Product Management teams to identify opportunities to enhance the competitive advantage of our products. * Implementation of margin enhancement initiatives. This involves sizing the opportunity, identifying what is required to implement, influencing and seeking the appropriate approvals, collaborating with key stakeholders both local and central along the way. This role is suited to someone with a solid Project Management background and will be a link into key partners such as Customer Care Teams, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance and wider ICSS businesses.
