Assistant Manager, Depository

A fund administration business, specialising in real estate and private equity funds with offices in London, the Channel Islands, Honk Kong and Singapore are now recruiting for an Assistant Manager to cover the company’s depositary function. The company has been selected for a number of industry awards and it offers unrivalled opportunities for a professional interested developing their career in funds business.

The Assistant Manager position is a newly created client-facing role to support wider business growth and comes with opportunity to build up exposure to a number of different projects. The role requires minimal travel.
As part of this role your responsibilities will include the delivery of depositary services relating to cash monitoring, asset verification, oversight and compliance. By managing a growing team of six you will develop your existing experience of reviewing and guiding junior team members. Reporting to the Manager and Head of Depositary you will liaise with clients on a daily basis; maintain testing and monitoring schedules and deliver additional projects as required.

In order to be considered for this role, you will need to have a relevant professional qualification (CIA, ACA, ACCA, MIIA etc.) from a Top 10 practice with up to 3 years of post qualified experience. You will also have audit experience and a very good understanding of funds. What is more, you will have excellent communication skills and great ideas that can be put into practice.
