Assistant Manager, Financial Risk Management recruitment

We are now looking for the following Financial Risk Management Professional to join our Risk Management Department.
DESCRIPTION
The jobholder will establish and ensure an effective second line of defense on financial risk management. Key responsibilities are to:
- Ensure the Group’s Financial Risk Management Standards, policies and frameworks are established and followed accordingly
- Support financial risk related matters, both technically and logistically
- Provide technical second opinion on areas such as Investment ALM strategies, Strategic Assets Allocation, Economic assumptions in Economic Capital, European Embedded Value, IFRS reserving, etc., proper contingencies plans to assess liquidity
- Ensure that comprehensive risk profiles are prepared, maintained and reported in the financial aspects of the company’s business through close collaboration with front line business partners, e.g. Investment, Finance, Actuarial teams
- Support department head in developing specific financial risk mitigation strategies
- Support the implementation of the Group’s Risk Appetite financial risk limits monitoring process
REQUIREMENTS
- University graduate in Actuarial, Finance, Quantitative Finance or related discipline, preferably with good progress in professional qualification such as FRM, CFA or FSA an advantage
- 3 - 5 years’ financial services industry experience, preferably in insurance
- Strong knowledge and experience in quantitative finance such as the application of derivatives for hedging purposes, ALM concept, VaR
- Knowledge of capital management, value measures and drivers under economic capital principles an advantage
- Strong report writing, presentation and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese
