Assistant Manager Group Finance Governance
This is an outstanding opportunity to perform a pivotal role to the function of Group Finance at a Leading Banking Group. You will be responsible for guiding Finance in the design and operation of effective mitigating controls.
This position is an exciting opportunity to work across Group Finance and to liaise with key stakeholders across the business. You will be required to interpret complex processes and manage the efficient and effective production of high quality output and anticipating stakeholder needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Stakeholder influence to senior management
- Establish and build relationships to identify business requirements and provide appropriate support and guidance
- Provide technical support and assistance to the business
- Deliver on projects to improve support to the business
- Monitor and support a range of processes and systems and recommend improvements
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with a strong understanding and experience of working in a Financial Control/SOx role. You will be required to confidently interact with senior management and will have a good understanding of risk management in Financial Services.
