Assistant Manager Job in Monticello 42633, Kentucky US
Beaver Creek Marina on Lake Cumberland is looking for an assistant manager to help oversee the boat rental operation. Experience in houseboat rentals and small boat rentals including PWC's is a plus. A back ground in houseboats and mechanics is preferred.
This position involves the management and upkeep of the rental fleet which includes houseboats, ski and pontoon boats and PWC's. You will work closely with the Marina Manger to insure that vessels are ready to go out at the scheduled time and that they are presented to customers, clean and in good working order.
Duties include:
Emergency response as needed to assist rental customers in need of help.
Ensure cleaning staff has detailed the vessel and furnished supplies necessary for the rental.
Inspect and service houseboats upon return and prior to each rental.
Greeting and instructing customers in the use and operation of houseboats.
The person we are seeking should be professional and have good people skills. Representing the marina to customers with a positive and friendly demeanor and the ability to work with the management and staff and be a part of a team is required.
Any certifications in marine engines and accessories is a plus.
