Assistant Manager, Leasing Financial Controller
A role arises working in the Leasing Centre of Excellence supporting the leasing financial control area. This role will require a candidate with good accounting skills and an ability to understand and interpret some relatively complex accounting concepts. The successful candidate will work in a team which supports the leasing area of the Structured Corporate Finance business and will be heavily involved in the delivery of management account and statutory returns, as well as helping to maintain the financial control environment.
Specific skills or knowledge:
- Knowledge of leasing transactions and their accounting
Key accountabilities:
- Involvement in month end finance process
- Preparation of various reconciliations and analysis
- Liaison with auditors
- Preparation of statutory reports
- Dealing with relatively complex accounting matters
- Provide technical support and assistance to the business in a subject area, using own judgement as to when more complex queries require escalation
- Deliver small-scale projects or well defined tasks on larger projects to improve support to the business
- Monitor and support a range of processes and systems to ensure that they are effectively maintained and coordinated, recommending improvements
- Establish and build relationships with customers to identify business requirements and provide appropriate support and guidance

- Solid grasp of Statutory Reporting, Consolidation, Management Reporting and Financial Control processes-systems
