Assistant Manager of Operational Risk, Kuwait recruitment
The ideal candidate has to implement systems and procedures for monitoring operational risk in the various operations area of the Bank.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate incidents involving procedure losses, partial losses or total procedure failures and recommend appropriate corrections to enhance the operational performance.
- Contribute to formulation of the Risk Management policies/procedures as well as internal control and the Risk Dashboard by facilitating the monthly Risk Dashboard data.
- Monitor procedures after implementation to track possible risk triggers and accordingly amend such triggers.
- Evaluate new product procedures and accordingly make the decision to accept or deny processes.
- Coordinate with the external audit agencies for certification of Internal Control.
- Follow up the approval chain through multiple committees.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or relevant field, preferably with Audit/Operational Risk Certifications.
- Solid track record in a similar role within a Bank in the GCC.
- Must be a GCC National.
