Assistant Manager- Product Control (Ref: 3078) recruitment
Responsibilities:
• Perform PL reconciliation between Middle Office and Accounting (APAC excl. Japan India);
• Perform FX reconciliation between Middle Office and Accounting (APAC excl Japan India), including checking SALM and ROB FX position and PL selldown process.
• Perform reconciliation of MTM to Equity between Middle Office and Accounting
• Maintenance the system/report for PL and FX reconciliation.
• Provide assistance in performing control on data flow for Capital Market Activities
• To suggest improvement in the system/data flow for better PL and FX reconciliation.
• To handle ad hoc queries as requested by Management
• To supervise small team.
Responsibilities:
• Bachelor degree with accountancy or financial qualification (e.g. ACCA, CFA member or candidate).
• 5 years relevant experience from an investment bank environment
• Good knowledge in fixed income and derivatives products
• Intermediate level skills in Ms Access, Excel (e.g. VBA, pivot table).
• Good commentary writing skills and presentation skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken in English and Cantonese.
