Assistant Manager – Retail Credit Audits recruitment
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Executing processes related to audit planning, audit fieldwork and audit report writing.
• Contributing to the enhancement of systems and procedures by reporting whether Credit/Operational controls of FGB standards are effectively carried out and are efficient
• Reviewing and appraising the Bank's Operations /Credit procedures in practice on a unit by unit basis
• Collecting and analyzing data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies
• Examining and evaluating financial and information systems, recommending controls to ensure system reliability and data integrity
• Assisting INA Senior Management in special audits and fraud investigations
• Responding to audit queries following audit reports
• Safeguarding the Bank against potential loss by reporting whether operational/credit controls of FGB standards are effectively carried out and are efficient in the departments audited
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
- Aiding in the updating /development of Credit/Operational Audit Programs.
- Timely resolution of allotted Audits and Assignments.
- Identification of potential efficiency improvements and opportunities for adding value across the business.
- Timely completion of special projects assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor Degree
• 3-5 years working experience in Internal Audit auditing primarily Retail Credit.
• Additional experience in Banking is an advantage, in particular Islamic Banking experience.
• Professional Audit Certificates such as CIA would be deemed an advantage.
