As part of the Products and Marketing Function this role is central to the delivery of our growth targets the development and management of market leading products and value propositions.

As an Assistant Marketing Manager your main responsibilities will include:-

* Ensuring that campaigns are aligned to key strategies by reference to objectives, communication, and an understanding of the customer market
* Developing and implementing campaign plans including communication to stakeholders, status reports, timeline management and project planning
* Developing campaign briefs and supporting the development of larger, more complex briefs
* Supporting of the development of creative and evaluating whether creative meets set briefs
* Input to forecasting and budget development

As an Assistant Marketing Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include:-

* Knowledge and understanding of the financial cards market place including regulatory and compliance requirements
* Core knowledge and experience of marketing principles and practices
* Understanding of customers, industry knowledge, competitor insight and an understanding of Santander's position on the market
* Ability to investigate and analyse information
* Experience of working with a broad range of stakeholders
