Assistant Project Manager

While reporting to the Manager - Compliance Projects, the Assistant Manager will be responsible for the following:

- Following up in the approval process of new projects

- Implementing the projects to ensure that all regulatory requirements are met and all milestones achieved

- Producing concise, accurate and relevant Compliance Reports for submission to Senior Management and others to highlight significant control or regulatory weaknesses, errors, or omissions in Compliance Projects.

- Regular liaison with the Compliance Officers and Coordinators to understand their needs for projects to support their functions at all times 

The following skills are required for this position:

- 3-5 years of experience in compliance (AML, compliance, risk reporting, etc.)

- A minimum 2-3 years in compliance project management whether its IT systems implementation like MIS

- Knowledge of financial regulatory authorities and UAE Central Bank guidelines.

- Currently working in the UAE

- Experience in automating MIS is a PLUS

- Ideally someone who has worked in a Compliance function and now moved into projects or has exposure in projects within compliance, IT and MIS.
