Assistant Project Manager Job

The Assistant Project Manager will assist in the responsibilities for all aspects of assigned projects and delivery of the same to the customer located in the Washington DC Metro area; the incumbent will ensure proper coordination of all resources at his/her disposal. The Assistant Project Manager will also assist with defining the project’s objectives and oversee throughout its life cycle. 

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture or related field required.  Extensive experience as craftsman/tradesman in construction or facilities engineering; or, design construction experience in engineering; or, construction/facility related experience in business. Proven record of success in contracting, logistics, talent development, team building and strategic planning.  A proven record in directing all aspects of facility operations, budgeting, equipment maintenance, preparation and negotiation of detailed cost proposals and posses strong oral and written communication skills.  Must have or the ability to obtain a “secret” security clearance.  Must posses a valid drivers license as driving will be required. Must be able to work a flexible schedule in order to meet project deadlines.
