Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of future projects, our client a leading national retail organisation seeks to appoint a highly motivated Assistant Project Manager to assist in the management of the construction delivery of their retail development and expansion projects throughout Qld.
Reporting to the Senior Development Manager and working closely with development and design teams to ensure construction delivery matches design intent, your responsibilities will encompass:
- Monitoring of the developer and contractor building/construction programmes
- Design management
- Issuing of project documentation for tender packages
- Management of external consultants and assisting in contractor procurement
- Contract preparation and administration
- Budget and cashflow monitoring and reporting
- Monitoring of the project and project reporting
- Management of post-construction issues
The successful candidate will possess relevant qualifications and have 4+ years experience in the property industry, ideally with specific exposure to construction and project management of retail and/or commercial projects.
Being highly motivated and self-managed, you will additionally display excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate and problem-solve with multiple stakeholders. Possessing attention to detail and strong organisational skills, you will also have solid skills in MS Office applications,
