Assistant Quantity Surveyor Job in Maidenhead, Home Counties Uk
The responsibility of the AQS is to assist the site and project surveyor in the development and implementation of all pre and post contract strategies, commercial functions and contract reporting.
The role reports to the Site Surveyor and/or Project Surveyor.
• Working with the Main-Contractors QS agreeing monthly valuations and receiving payments.
• Regularly completing on site measurements / take offs
• Demonstrating awareness of key project objectives and priorities and assisting in measurement and valuation, internal and external valuation, administration of contract records and preparation of subcontract and material orders.
Ideally you will recently secured a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying or working towards a BSc.
You will be trained in all aspects of the Assistant Quantity Surveying role.

• Administration of contract records
• Knowledge of sub contract materials orders and buying
